what if tv turns on and turns off without beep sound under 1 minute?

I was measuring nearly a short over the capacitors in the output switching section. I started removing all the caps and resistors around there to find the short. Ended up being a bad Mosfet. As I was searching the net for parts, I ended up on this vid. Great video, you could have saved me a day of messing around had I known. 😩 Ya and by the way, I hate switching power supplies. Anyhow I ordered the mosfet, and it's back up working. 😀

Mine had all T20 screws. 3 of them stripped. I drilled them out to discover my belt was fine. The motor is shot.

My TV uses CCPD-TC495-008 V3.0 but I wasn't able to get the exact thing to buy I had CCPD-TC495-008 V4. Will this work with my 50 inches TV?

Hi I have a Hisense TV model number 58R6E3 and serial number 58G2104NVH04540, and I am suspecting the T-Con board may have a problem because the TV seems to turn on with audio but with no picture. I tried using a flashlight to see if I could see the screen, but no luck. Can you tell me if the T-Con could be the issue and also let me know what the correct replacement part would be by checking the model and serial number that I provided? Thanks.

Hi there, my Samsung UN60F7100AFXZA upon turning it on it will have a split screen vertical lines on the left, and it will turn on by itself like there is no problem and minutes later screen will be blank with sounds and picture will appear again by itself after 10mins or 20mins, upon checking some youtube video, they are saying it is the tcon board or the flex connector. or someting.

D65U-D2 these hve the high backlight strip failure rate so i wonder if its just the strips but its a 65" vizio its darker than normal especially along the bottom 5 or 6 inches towards the middle and to the right of screen and if i raise the brightness for more than a few minutes the screen will shut off but i still have sound and i used a flashlight and could see the image with a flashlight on it after it went blackscreen and still had sound. inverter board??? lcd display? im not sure

One thing to look out for is avoid the bottom when taking off the back cover, i did this to another tv and ended up ruining a ribbon, lesson learned when prying only use sides and top til cover clicks off..

I did replace the chip and the TV been showing solid green and it’s on but no picture.. I’ve done unplug and on but still same result

I'm currently working on a 48" and the lower 2" of the screen get horizontal lines and then the TV turns off. I already tried replacing the TCON board but the same issue persists. Now I'm between the main board and the power supply. I'm thinking the main board is the fault but could it be the power supply? TV only stays on for about 3 - 5 seconds. First 2 seconds there are no lines, they they appear and then a second afterwards the set turn off.

I have a Sansui TV which switched off, the power button stays on. I unplugged it left for a day two. I opened the back cover and found condensation on the back cover, I don't know why this happened. I left it uncovered for a few day's, before returning the back cover I inserted a sachet of rice and secured to the cover. Re connected the TV to my power source, switch the TV on, it come on for about a minute or two then switched off again. I am not sure if my TV is now in a SAFE MODE...I am a widow and retired live on a pension and not able to buy a new TV. 😮

Hi, I have Vizio model d65-d2, and there are wide, vertical lines (with no picture) across the entire screen. I purchased and installed a tcon board from Shop Jimmy, and a brand new main board, but the problem still persist. Do you offer a tutorial on checking voltages for the boards in this model tv? I've checked all the ribbon cables for continuity and they're all good. Also, is there a way to check the screen with a volt meter? I don't know if all the little gold tabs along the edges are negatively affecting anything. Thanks for any help you can offer!!

DO NOT use this tutorial! It skips the scan board step. I broke a piece of tape on the scan boards when trying to lift the screen. Live and learn. 👎
